That solidarity song and the arrival of the new Minister, Evelyn Anite signify a new dawn in the Federal Ministry of Industry, Trade and Investment.

The Minister, was welcomed by the Permanent Secretary, Directors, staff, union members and stakeholders before engaging with the management of the ministry.

In her inaugural meeting with the management team shortly after taking over the mantle of leadership, the Minister said the ministry needs urgent rebranded to meet the global acceptable standard in order to attract more Foreign Direct Investment to the country.

She also assured the management and staff of an open door policy to drive the President, Bola Tinubu’s government’s renew hope agenda.

Earlier, the Permanent Secretary, Evelyn Ngige briefed the Minister on the mandates of the Ministry.

With the assumption of the new Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment, it is expected that the nation’s economic outlook will improve in the shortest time.
