The Ministers of Education, Prof Mamman Tahir and Hon. Yusuf Sonunu immediately after their inauguration at the presidential villa assumed office with assurances of their commitment to reposition the sector.
inline with the renewed hope agenda of president Bola Tinubu. Speaking at a reception organised for them by the Permanent Secretary David Adejoh and management staff of the ministry, Prof. Tahir solicited the support of all stakeholders to delive on the education mandate.
He promised to work inline with the challenges in the sector with expectations to change the present narratives.
Also, the minister of State for Education, Hon Yusuf Sonunu commended President Tinubu for his appointment and deployment to the education ministry promising to give priority to issues related to industrial harmony,welfare of teachers among others.
It is expected that both ministers will hit the ground running in the task to revamp the education sector that is bedeviled with several challenges.
