FRSC Trains Top Mgt., Zonal Commanders On Policy Formulation, Planning & Implementation
The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has again conducted insightful, impactful and comprehensive capacity building on policy formulation, planning, and implementation for its top management and twelve zonal commanding officers.
This was contained in a statement signed by the Assistant Corps Marshal, Corps Public Education Officer, Olusegun Ogungbemide and made available to Channel Network Afrique, CNA.
The Corps Marshal, Shehu Mohammed who declared the workshop open, emphasised on the impact of staff capacity development on the realisation of the safety mandate.
He revealed that the training underscores the commitment of his administration to excellence in policy formulation and implementation.
According to the statement, the training was targeted at equipping the officers with the knowledge that would enhance policy development and improved strategic planning towards the actualization of the vision of the Corps; minimize injuries and fatalities in road traffic crashes.
It also gave adequate priority to the most relevant areas of policy analysis and development, strategic planning and management, implementation and evaluation techniques in addition to leadership and team building.
Experts from renowned institutions and seasoned policy analysts coordinated by a consulting firm who handled the training gave their best to ensure that the expected knowledge was impacted.
The Corps Marshal has since his assumption of office, made staff capacity development topmost of his agenda.
