A Coalition of Civil Society Organisations (COCSOAC) has condemned the attacks and baseless demand for the removal of the group chief executive of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL), Mele Kyari.
Addressing a news conference in Abuja, the Group spokesman, Mohammed Abdullahi attributed the unsubstantiated accusations to attempts to derail the achievements recorded by the NNPCL leadership under Kyari.
He advised Nigerians not to give in to such blackmail especially as it relates to the various reforms that have been championed to reposition the nation’s oil and gas sector.
The group further highlighted some of Mele kyari’s success story and the impact on the nation’s revenue.
They urged President Tinubu not to succumb to baseless demands from persons and groups who are only interested in selfish motives.
