Breaking: Nigerian Government approves 5 Billion Naira Research Intervention Fund

The Sum of 5 Billion Naira has been approved by president Muhammadu Buhari for the National Research Fund. The approval which is the highest in the history of the fund is to enable scholars of tertiary institutions carry out cutting edge research for the growth and development of the nation. Executive Secretary of the Tertiary education trust fund, TETFUND, Prof, Suleiman Bogoro who disclosed this at the Inauguration of a national research fund screening and monitoring committee in Abuja said the funds implementation will cover three thematic areas of science, technology and innovation, Humanities and social sciences.
