The All Progressives Congress, APC, has denied sacking the Chairman of the Edo State Governorship Election Primary Committee, Hope Uzodinma as speculated.
National Publicity Secretary, APC, Felix Morka who disclosed this at a news conference at the party’s National Secretariat in Abuja the Imo State Governor, was on another assignment earlier scheduled for him.
He noted that there was nothing wrong with the Deputy Chairman of the Committee completing the job in Mr. Uzodinma’s absence.
On if the ruling party was conducting a fresh election since the previous one was enmeshed with controversy, the APC spokesman said the party was only concluding an ongoing process.
The APC National Working Committee replaced Uzodimma with his counterpart from Cross River to complete the Edo state governorship primary election.
