Respite may soon come the way of Nigerians with assurances by the ministers of Police Affairs, Ibrahim Gaidam and Imaan Sulaiman to priortise the safety of lives and properties in the country.
The Ministers who were hosted to a reception by the permanent Secretary of the Police Affairs ministry, Abel Enitan and other management staff indicated their resolve to change the narratives in the security sector.
Former Governor Gaodam in his remarks hinted on plans to drive the ministry security agenda through the use of innovations and technology.
On her part, the Minister of State for Police Affairs, Imaan Sulaiman Ibrahim, commended President Bola Tinubu for her appointment to serve, with emphasis on the renewed Hope agenda of the federal government.
Earlier, the Permanent Secretary, Able Enitan briefed the Ministers on the Mandate of the Ministry.
The need to hit the ground running to reposition the police for better service delivery was also highlighted at the brief ceremony.
