The assumption of Office of the Ministers’ of Defence, Hon. Abubakar Badaru and Dr. Bello Mohammed came with the assurances of their commitment to reposition the security Architecture.
Speaking at a reception organised for the Ministers’ by the Permanent Secretary, Dr Ibrahim Kana and management staff of the ministry, Hon. Muhammed, stated that the security of the country is paramount to it’s economic growth, hence all efforts would be channeled to rid the nation of security challenges.
He further assured President Bola Tinubu and Nigerians that the Ministry will not fail in delivering it’s mandate and having a remarkable security change in the country.
Earlier, the Minister of State for Defence, Dr. Bello Mohammed who pledge to serve the nation with all diligence noted that the ministry will adopt a comprehensive and multi-facet approach to effectively tackle the security challenges bedeviling the Nation.
In his welcome remarks, the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Defence, Dr Ibrahim Kana who commended President Tinubu for the appointment of the Ministers’ assured of their support in ensuring that the Ministers’ deliver on their mandate of ensuring peace and stability in the country.
Highpoint of the event which was graced by the Service Chiefs, top management staff of the ministry, Officers of the Armed Forces among others was the signing and exchange of the handover o notes from the Permanent Secretary to the Minister
