The National Population Commission says it has factor in mistakes of past national head count exercises and is determined to change the Narrative in the conduct of the 2023 Housing and Population Census.
Chairman of the Commission, Nasir Isa-Kwarra, gave the assurance at the opening ceremony of the national level training of Training Centre Managers And Administrators (TCMA) for the 2023 population and housing census, held in Abuja.
He said the commission’s vision for the 2023 census has been designed to produce not only accurate, reliable and acceptable census but also inclusive and user-friendly census data.
The NPC boss also spoke on the place of training and retraining of personnel for the exercise especially in the use of innovations that would be deployed for the conduct of the Census.
He urge Nigerians to support the efforts of the commission to deliver a credible and acceptable census .
