Finance Minister Down Plays Economic Hardship, Scores Tinubu’s Reforms High

Few days to the planned nationwide protest by Nigerians over the economic hardships being faced in the country, the President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s led government has scored itself high in terms of transformative reforms.

In spite of the hash economic concerns and stifling policies, the Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister for the Economy, Wale Edun, at a news conference in Abuja said the new and bold policy direction is positively yielding results that will take the economy to a greater height.

He said Nigeria now stands at a pole position globally to attract massive foreign direct investments as a result of the efforts of the All Progressives Congress’ administration.

The Minister also spoke on other sundry policies put in place by the government to better the life of the people.

He however, noted that there has been a root and branch reconfiguration of the finances of the federal government to achieve increased revenue across the board, as well as to achieve greater expenditure control.
