It was a fun filled day for pupils & students of Famaks British School as they commemorate the Children’s day celebration. The day which is observed on 27th may annually, seeks to protect, preserve and guarantee children’s right to education and other basic needs of life.
Speaking to Channel Network Afrique crew at a FunDay Organised by the school at its premises in Asokoro, Abuja, the Head of Primary, Onyinchechi Okonkwo – Etusi called on Nigerians to imbibe the peaceful disposition of children saying the gesture will in no small measure enhance the needed synergy for economic prosperity.
She further harp on the mantra of Famaks British School targeted at breeding successful children that will become great in life.
As expected some parents were on ground to celebrate the day with the children. They commended the school management for the education and moral values being impacting on their wards.
Some of the children in their reaction expressed gratitude to the school for commemorating the day.
The theme for the 2022 Children’s Day is “A Better Future for Every Child”.
