The Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN) says the 4th Annual online conference of Registered Teachers in Nigeria will hold from 16-17 October 2024 The Acting Registrar/Chief Executive of TRCN, Dr.Stella-Maria Nwokeocha made this known at a press briefing in Abuja.
She said this year’s edition of the conference, is a special response to the emerging Global Continental and National issues of interest to the teaching profession and education In Nigeria.
Dr. Nwokeocha, also noted that, the conference with the theme ” Advancing Teacher Professionalisation in Nigeria Towards Education 2030: Challenges, Strategies and Prospects ” will reposition teachers in Nigeria to meet International standards.
The conference according to the TRCN Boss, has support from, UNESCO, Ministry of Education, Save the Children International, Universal Basic Education Commission among others.
