After Surrendering to the Nigerian police following days of siege, tension and melodrama, Senator Dino Melaye finally refuted being part of lawmakers that booed President Muhammadu Buhari during the 2019 budget presentation before a joint session of the National Assembly on December 19, 2018. Dino Melaye, who represents Kogi West Senatorial District said he was not within the House of Representatives chamber, venue of the budget presentation on that fateful day as such could not partake in embarrassing President Buhari.
