2 members of a transnational kidnap syndicate allegedly involved in the kidnap of a US citizen Philip Walton on 28th October 2020 at his farm in Masalata village in Niger Republic have been arrested by the Nigerian Police Force. Parading the suspects Aliyu Umaru 23 and Aliyu Abdulahi 21 in Abuja, Force Public Relations Officer DCP Frank MBA said they are members of a 15 man kidnap gang of Nigerian and Nigerien extraction. He said investigation into their arrests indicates that the gang were ploting other abductions to avenge the death of their cohorts.
