According to statistics,Nigeria is estimated to have over 18 million orphans and vulnerable persons. These persons no doubt are usually subjected to both emotional and behavioural challenges which exposes them to abuse, exploration,neglect among others. The situation according the founder of a popular radio programme,Positive Half Hour Ibrahim Adavize calls for concern and urgent intervention of government and well meaning Nigerians. At a ceremony to give back to the society in Okene Kogi state,the radio host said such gesture will go a long way to reduce incidents of poverty and other social vices in the society.
