Stakeholders Must Adopt Video Technology To Create Standards, Jobs – Katagum

The World Standards Day other wise known as International Day for Standards is a day set aside to raise awareness among regulators, consumers and industry as to the importance of standardisation to the world economy. Speaking at this year’s belated celebration, the Nigerian Minister of State, Industry Trade and Investment, Mariam Katagum said the theme of this year’s celebration, “Video Standards Create a Global Stage” was apt as its focus on the role of standards in facilitating video innovations. She said video technology if properly explore, will create job opportunities in Nigeria.
