The Coalition of Northern Groups (CNG) has disclosed plans to convene a two day roundtable discussion on the rising trend of insecurity in the country.
CNG National Coordinator, Jamilu Charanchi who gave the indication at a press conference in Abuja, expressed worry over the worsening state of insecurity in the federal capital territory and the nation at large.
He said security experts have been assembled to deliver papers at the conference with key emphasis on a change of approach in confronting the criminal elements.
The Group said high profile dignitaries including Governors, Heads of security agencies, policy makers traditional rulers among other critical stakeholders have been invited to attend the conference.
The roundtable interface will hold in Abuja on 24th and 25th January 2024.
