The Chairman, House of Representatives Ad-hoc Committee on Ejikeme Mmesoma, Hon. Soli Sada, has commended the Registrar of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, JAMB, Prof. Ishaq Oloyede, for the technological innovations deployed by the board for the conduct of the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination, UTME.
Sada, who gave the commendation when the ad-hoc committee visited JAMB headquarters in Abuja, applauded the examination body for fortifying its operations against criminal infiltrations.
The committee further applauded the Board for quality governance especially on the area of revenue generation to the coffers of the federal government.
Responding, JAMB Registrar, Prof Ishaq Oloyede who took the committee on tour of the Boards Innovations restated commitment to zero tolerance to malpractices and manipulations.
It would be recalled that the Prof Oloyede-led management had remitted over N55bn to the Federal Government coffers.
