As Nigeria marks it’s 61st independence Anniversary, the Allied Peoples’ Movement (APM) has called on the citizens to be patriotic and prayerful despite numerous setbacks including poor leadership, military coups, civil war, terrorism, banditry, kidnapping, political upheavals and economic stagnation that shaked the foundations of the country.

In a signed press release by the APM National Chairman, Yusuf Mamman Dantalle, the party affirmed the resilience of citizens that Nigeria had remained a united nation.

” It is time for national rebirth and renewal. It is time to chart a new course for Nigeria and redirect the ship of the state from its perilous path. This calls for patriotism and unity of purpose to build a strong, virile, progressive and egalitarian democratic society the masses will be proud of” the chairman said .

He said the party is strongly determined to provide leadership that will transform the nation and once more put her on the path of growth, development and advancement.

“APM’s candidates for the 2023 general election are men and women of integrity who are passionate to build a better society. It is the only political party that fielded a female presidential candidate, Princess Chichi Ojei.”

“The adverse situation of the country requires the tenacity of purpose, political savvy and managerial acumen of a female presidential to tackle as obtainable in other democracies. She is the best candidate for president. Nigerians shall experience a breath of fresh air in governance if APM is voted into power in 2023”.

The party however urged Nigerians to participate in the ongoing electoral process that will redefine the destiny of the nation.

” Your vote is your power to build a prosperous and decent society which only an APM government will provide. The future is bright. Our national challenges are surmountable as we put the interest of Nigeria first, Dantalle said.
