A forum comprising chief executive officers of federal government agencies has pledged support for the continuity of President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, saying the administration’s reforms require sustained implementation to achieve long-term national development goals.

Speaking on the resolutions reached at the maiden meeting of the forum in Abuja, the Director-General and Chief Executive Officer of the National Board for Technology Incubation (NBTI), Dr. Kazeem Kolawole Raji, said members agreed on the need to increase public awareness of the objectives, impacts and benefits of the reforms.

According to him, the forum noted that many Nigerians remain insufficiently informed about the purpose, outcomes and wider benefits of ongoing government policies and reforms.

He said the forum resolved to work through their respective organisations and agencies to promote public enlightenment, constructive engagement and strategic support for policies aimed at driving economic growth, stability and sustainable national development.

Also speaking at the meeting, one of the participants said the gathering was conceived as a platform for chief executives of government agencies to contribute to public understanding of the administration’s achievements and reforms.

The speaker described the meeting as the first of its kind involving heads of federal agencies coming together to discuss their performance and support the government’s policy objectives.

Participants at the meeting maintained that government officials have a responsibility to communicate the rationale behind reforms and promote public understanding of the administration’s policies and programmes.
