More Political Groups have continued to agitate for political parties to zone their presidential tickets to the south east ahead of the 2023 general elections.
This time around, a global non partisan Igbo Thick Tank pressure group known as Nzuko Umunna wants political parties to do the needful in the spirit of fairness and equity insisting that the people of the South East deserve to have a sense of belonging in the Country.
Meanwhile, the president of Nzuko Umunna, Sen. Chris Anyanwu, in her remarks said the conference was conceived to put the nation on the right path of progress and greatness.
The occasion which have all Presidential aspirants from Southeast as well as Governors from Southeast and Southern Nigeria was graced by special delegation from Ohaneze Ndigbo, South West Afenifere leaders, Middle Belt Forum, amongst others. The theme of the conference is Together We Can.
