National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Senator Abdullahi Adamu says the party is not in a hurry to take a position on the zoning arrangements of the leadership of the 10th National Assembly.
Adamu disclose this while addressing newsmen after presiding over an emergency National Working Committee (NWC) meeting that lasted for four hours at the party’s national secretariat in Abuja.
The APC Chairman who stated that no formal pronouncement will be made from the party national secretariat on the zoning arrangement without the input of President-elect, Bola Ahmed Tinubu urged Nigerians to exercise patience as the party is working on consensus candidates.
Adamu also revealed that the leadership crisis rocking the ruling party has been resolved.
Recall that the APC National Vice Chairman, Northwest, Salihu Lukman instituted a lawsuit against the National Chairman, Senator Abdullahi Adamu and National Secretary, Senator Iyiola Omisore over their refusal to convene meetings of relevant party organs.
