Ahead of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP Presidential primary election, the two presidential Hopefuls under the platform of the party, former senate president, Bukola Saraki and the Sokoto State governor, Aminu Tambuwal have continued their engagement with Stakeholders.
While Saraki met with members of PDP House of Representatives Caucus in Abuja Tambuwal also hosted former Presiding Officers of National Assembly as part of their efforts to actualise their Presidential ambitions. Saraki pleaded with the PDP House caucus led by Ndudi Elumelu to support him, promising them a better deal if he wins the 2023 Presidential election under PDP.
On his part Tambuwal urged those clamouring for zoning in the party to consider the demographic composition of the country arguing that what PDP needs now is to get power first before talking of zoning. The meeting was in continuation of their consultative engagements to garner support for their Presidential aspirations.
