The Department of State Services has dismissed claims of alleged I’ll treatment by the detained leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra Nnamdi Kanu. Kanu’s Lawyer, Maxwell Opara had alleged that his client was being kept in solidary confinement as well as provided with quack and incompetent medical services. The DSS however in it’s reaction debunked the insinuations by the IPOB leader. According to it’s spokesman,Dr Peter Afunanya,Kanu is accorded full rights and previleges. Track up The service further used the opportunity to warn against provocative statements that could overheat the polity. Track up Afunanya also appealed to Nigerians not to lose guard and report suspicious movements during and after the yuletide season. Track up The Service say it will continue to work with other sister security agencies to ensure a safe and prosperous Nigeria.
