There is no doubt that the global economy is yet to fully recover from the devastating effect of the COVID 19 pandemic. The Nigerian economy is not left out as available indices reflects downward trend of revenue inflow from all major sources in the nation’s economy. The realization however is the urgent need for fiscal resources to stimulate the economy and provide the necessary dividends of good governance. This development the Minister of Police Affairs Mohammed Dingyadi said informed the decision to organise a 2 day stakeholders’ conference on internally generated revenue . Represented by the Permanent Secretary, Temitope Fashedemi, the minister said the conference is expected to discus and generate ideas for improved revenue generation in the ministry. The minister further charged the participants to step up efforts to improve internally generated revenue as well as block leakages.
