A coalition of various Groups in the All Progressive Congress APC has thrown their weight behind former Governor of Nasarawa State Senator Tanko Al- makura to emerge as National Chairman of the ruling party. Rising from their meeting held in Abuja, the Group highlighted various virtues that qualifies the former Governor to suprietend over the affairs of the APC. Reading the communique, Chairman of the coalition, Chief Chukwunonso Ezedinma while stating other factors that informed their support for senator Almakura described him as a detribalised Nigerian with capacity to resolve the internal wranglings in the party ahead the 2023 general elections among others. He further disclosed plans by the coalition to inaugurate various committees that will drive the objective of the coalition. Issues related to revalidation/ Registration exercise , zoning of the presidency on 2023, admission of new members among others top agenda of discuss by the Group in the meeting that lasted over 4 hours.
