The Parliamentary Staff Association of Nigeria PASAN says it’s ongoing strike remains indefinite. PASAN President Comrade Usman Mohammed disclosed this at an exclusive interview with Channel Network Afrique in Abuja. The strike which kicks off effectively on Tuesday March 23rd is in connection with grievances of non-implementation of financial autonomy for legislative staff as directed by the Federal Government through a Presidential Order 10, 2020. Mohammed applauded the success of the industrial action resulting in the shutdown of Houses of Assembly across the 36 states of the Federation. Track up The PASAN further disclosed that the Association was yet to be invited for talks by the relevant authorities. Track up The union vowed to continue to ground activities in the state Houses of Assembly until the needful is done.
