The Minister of Interior, Olubunmi Tunj-Ojo has called on agencies under the ministry to come up with transformative strategies that will enhance the nation’s security architecture.
He disclosed this in Abuja at a two-day performance contracting retreat aimed at strengthening agencies to meet critical national security objectives in line with the renewed hope agenda.
He said the ministry has the mission to ensure that internal security as the bedrock of national stability and growth is prioritised.
The Minister also spoke on other sundry strategies that will help in addressing security challenges in the country.
The Permanent Secretary, Magdalene Ajani, on her part said the performance contracting will drive measurable targets for massive impacts on the nation’s economy.
The theme of the retreat is “United Front For a Secure Nation and Future”.
