A coalition of Civil Society organizations alongside concerned residents of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), have raised concerns over allegations of widespread corruption and land grabbing in the Federal Capital Territory Administration.
This is as the Group also faulted the management style of the FCT land administration. Addressing a news conference in Abuja, the Group led by Alhaji Husseini Agaire lambasted the FCT minister for allegedly planting his cronies in strategic offices to do his bidding ,a development that threatens the over 2 decades of progress made in ensuring a corruption-free land administration system on the capital territory.
The Group further questioned the manner properties are revoked by the Wike led FCDA without due process.
They called on President Tinubu to call the FCT minister to order as well as urged the National Assembly to intensify its oversight of the capital territory to ensure residents are not victimized and their properties revoked unnecessarily.
