Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello has urged Nigerians to stop the Politics of division and ethnicity and support the efforts of the President Tinubu led administration to make the nation great again.
Gov. Bello who made the call at the closing ceremony of the 3rd Annual GYB Seminar for Nigeria’s Political and Crime Correspondents/Editors in Abuja called for patience and understanding especially as it relates to the policies of the new administration.
He reminded Nigerians that the Nation can only get it right if President Tinubu succeeds.
The Governor who earlier fielded questions from newsmen emphasized optimism that the ruling All Progressive Congress will win the November 11th State Governorship election.
Meanwhile, the state commissioner of Information, Kingsley Fanwo in a paper presentation advanced reasons while campaigns by Governorship candidates and their political parties jostling for the Lord Lugard Government House should be issue based.
The high point of the closing ceremony of the 2 day seminar put together by the Kogi State Government to build the capacity of correspondents and Editors in delivering their job Effectively and promoting democracy in Nigeria via effective media reportage was the presentation of cash awards to deserving participants.
