The Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Taoreed Lagbaja, has once again restated the commitment of the Nigerian Army to protect and defend the Nations democratic governance.
General Lagbaja who gave the assurance at the the closing ceremony of the Chief of Army Staff Combined Second and Third Quarters Conference 2023, at the Army Headquarters Command Officers’ Mess in Abuja said the conference has provided a veritable platform to review the Nigerian Army (NA) training, operational and administrative activities that directly relate to national security.
Gen Lagbaja further stated the resolve of officers and Men of the Army towards ensuring a secured environment for good governance and economic development.
The Army Chief further charged formation commanders to recalibrate their strength to win the fight against the nation’s adversaries.
Highpoint of the ceremony was the presentation of cheques under the Nigerian Army Personnel Insurance Scheme to 10 families of late personnel that lost their lives on active service.
