The New Nigeria People’s Party NNPP has dissolved it’s state executive members in Rivers,Enugu, Ekitii, Niger,Kaduna, Zamfara and Katsina states.
The decision to sack the state executives was adopted by the party’s National working Committee following petitions and complaints received from the affected states after the 2023 general election.
Briefing journalists in Abuja on the development, the National Publicity Secretary of the party, Agbo Major said a 7 man committee was immediately set up to investigate allegations raised in the various petitions.
He said the committee at the conclusion of its assignment, established gross anti party activities against the affected party officials.
Dr Major further explained reasons why the party decided to step down action on petitions from Imo and Oyo states.
Meanwhile, a 5-man Caretaker Committee has been constituted to run the affairs of the party in the affected states. End
