The Federal Capital Territory Administration FCTA has commenced a 2 day training of 170 personnel for the implementation of its park and pay Policy.
The development which is inview of recent approval by the federal government to implement the policy in the nations capital commencing from September 2023 is targeted to restore the glory of the Capita city where cars are parked decently.
The Training facilitator and Chief Executive of ATB Germany in Nigeria Suleiman Adejoh who gave the indication at 2 day training programm in Abuja said the participants are expected to be trained on ethics in work place, leadersphip style, communication culture among others. Further breakdown shows that the 170 personnel will cover the Garki and Maitama axis of the Abuja Metropolis.
The policy supports the imposition of fees on motorists for parking their vehicles in specific locations or streets within the Abuja metropolis.
