Former Minister of Special Duties, Senator George Akume as officially assumed duty as the Secretary to the Government of the Federation.
Akume was received by staff, directors, and permanent secretaries in the office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation shortly after been administered with the oath of office by by president Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the presidential Villa in Abuja.
He promised to give his best in repositioning the country for true economic growth and development while also soliciting the support and Cooperation of staff of the OSGF.
While handing over the affairs of the OSGF to Sen. Akume, the Former SGF, Boss Mustapha assured of his support whenever the need arises.
President Ahmed Bola Tinubu Friday June 2nd 2023 at the meeting with Progressive Governors at the Aso rock villa announced the appointed of Akume as the Secretary to the Government of the Federation.
