84,000 Candidates Write Rescheduled Mock UTME

About 84,000 candidates sat for the rescheduled Mock-Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (Mock-UTME) held across the country.

Registrar of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB), Professor Is-haq Oloyede, who disclosed this while fielding questions from newsmen after monitoring the examination in Abuja, said the exercise was hitch free.

Oloyede expressed delight with measures taken to address the hitches that prompted the decision to reschedule the examination, saying more of such interventions would be deployed before the UTME proper.

Oloyede further gave a breakdown of the mock UTME held in 387 centres across the country.

Meanwhile, JAMB Director of Technology Services, Fabian Okoro said field reports from various CBT centres across the country indicates the successful conduct of the mock UTME.

Some of the CBT Centres visited by the JAMB delegation includes Total Child Model College, Dutse, JAMB CBT Centre, Kogo, among others.
