Three years after the outbreak of the Corona Virus Pandemic, Covid-19 that brought the global economy to its kneels, the Nigerian Government and some stakeholders embarked on stock taking to ascertain how the country fared.
Speaking at the close-out ceremony of a one day stakeholders forum known as Hygiene and Behaviour Change Coalition Project, the Minister of Health, Osagie Ehanire said Covid-19 has been fought to a standstill in the country.
Represented by the Director, Family Health Department, Bola Alonge, the Minister said the HBCC2 project a one year health promotion programme on Covid-19 was majorly to have a retrospect on the challenges of the pandemic as well as proffer lasting solutions.
The Programme Coordinator Fatima Bunza warned that COVID-19 is real as such there is need to continue to observe preventive measures.
Some stakeholders spoke on the challenges and success of the project.
The Hygiene and Behaviour Change Coalition Project which was adopted across the country majorly focused on five states which include Lagos, Osun, Oyo, Nasarawa, Kano and the Federal Capital Territory, FCT.
