Respite may soon come for Nigerians with various health concerns, as the Women Leaders Support Advancement (WLSA) Group has unveiled plans for a nationwide medical outreach.

Speaking on the sidelines of a medical outreach in Kano, held in collaboration with the state government, the group’s Founder, Deborah Jan-Hornecker, said the intervention will begin with a phased rollout across northern Nigeria.

She explained that the initiative is part of a structured plan to reach communities across the country, with a focus on bridging healthcare gaps for underserved populations, especially women and children who often lack access to basic medical services.

Jan-Hornecker noted that the group has already conducted similar outreaches in Nasarawa and Plateau states, adding that the effort is driven by a commitment to support Nigerians who cannot afford essential healthcare.
