The Nigeria Christian Pilgrim Commission (NCPC), has airlifted about 300 intending pilgrims from Delta, Kogi and Borno States to the Holy land of Israel and Jordan under the Commission’s fifth batch of December 2022 Pilgrimage Exercise.
Addressing the Pilgrims at the Nnamdi Azikiwe international Airport, Abuja, the Executive Secretary, NCPC, Rev Yakubu Pam said the commission will continue to use the Pilgrimage excercise to advance the cause of unity in the country and the Christendom.
While he admonished the Pilgrims to shun any form of abscoundment, the NCPC boss urged them to pray for the success of the 2023 general elections and the unity of the country as well as be good representatives of Christ and Nigeria.
Some officials of the commission in their remarks adviced the pilgrims to be of worthy character and pray for the country.
The Commission further commended the fourth batch of pilgrims who recently returned from the holy land for their good behaviour during the Pilgrimage excercise.
