Just In: Nigeria Army Launches Information Platform To Protect Service Documents
The Nigerian Army has launched a security information platform aimed at disseminating operational information to its formations, units and departments across the country. The implication of this development is that the army will now operate in a paperless secured and speedy communication of correspondence between its various units and formation. Addressing journalists at the occasion, chief of Army Staff, General Tukur Buratai said the platform which was upgraded from the Nigeria Army Wide Area Network infrastructure has a storage capacity of 500 terabytes and back up storage of 112 terabytes.
