NEPC, SMEDAN Form Alliance To Place Nigeria’s Small Businesses On Global Map

As Nigeria intensify efforts to diversify it’s economy, the place of export cannot be over emphasized.

That is why Nigerian Export Promotion Council is partnering with the Small and Medium Enterprise Development Agency SMEDAN, on developing policies to strengthen the activities of small businesses across the country.

Speaking at the signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding by the two agencies in Abuja, the Executive Director, NEPC, Ezra Yakusak said the partnership is aimed at facilitating market access of Africa as well as promote Made-in-Nigeria products across the continent.

The NEPC boss however, promised to support existing SMEs, local and ailing industries. On his part, SMEDAN Director General, Olawale Fansaya said the Synergy is to ensure that sure small businesses perform and compete favourably in the international market.

In recent times the Nigerian Export Promotion Council has been forming alliance with relevant agencies towards improving the nation’s economic development.
