IGP Disu Decorates 13 Newly Promoted AIGs, 17 CPs, Charges Officers On Integrity
Inspector General of Police (IGP) Olatunji Disu has decorated 30 newly promoted senior officers, comprising 13 Assistant Inspectors General of Police (AIGs) and 17 Commissioners of Police (CPs), at a ceremony held at the Force Headquarters in Abuja.
Addressing the newly promoted officers, the IGP urged them to lead with uncompromising integrity, reject corruption, and uphold the highest standards of professionalism.
He said the promotions were a recognition of the officers’ professionalism, dedication, and commitment to duty, noting that they had earned the trust and confidence of the Nigeria Police Force through years of exemplary service.
The police chief further stressed the need to build a modern, intelligence driven, and technology-oriented police force while strengthening community partnerships to enhance effective policing and public trust.
The decoration ceremony was attended by families and friends of the newly promoted officers, senior officers of the Nigeria Police Force, and other stakeholders.
