APC Reconciliation Committee Submits Report.

The National Reconciliation Committee of the All Progressives Congress(APC) has submitted it’s interim report to the National Chairman, Caretaker/Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee (CECPC).

The Caretaker committee Chairman and Governor of Yobe state Mai Mala Buni represented by former senate president,senator Ken Nnamani, received the report at the APC Secretariat in Abuja.

Commending the efforts of the Committee, Gov Buni said the findings in the report which is coming at a crucial period will in no small measures contribute to a successful national convention of the ruling party and the 2023 general elections. Meanwhile,the Chairman of the nine member National Reconciliation committee,

Senator Abdullahi Adamu,who earlier confirmed that 47 petitions was received by the committee as at 30th January 2022,however requested for additional seven days to enable the committee put finishing touches on the report.

Also at the APC National Secretariat, a group under the aegis of Ekiti forum staged a protest to call for the cancellation of the Ekiti state party primary elections that produced Biodun Oyebanji as the APC flag bearer for the forthcoming Ekiti governorship elections. The group further urged the party leadership to revisit and address the matter as it might affect the chances of the party in the June 18,2022 Governorship election in the state.
