The Nigeria Police Force says it will commence nationwide training of 10,000 newly recruited Constables from 10th of January, 2022.
Inspector General of Police, IGP Usman Alkali Baba gave the indication at the meeting with Commandant’s of Nigeria Police Colleges in Abuja.
The IGP who described the recruitment process as well articulated and seamless involving all strategic relevant stakeholders said the next phase of the exercise rest on the shoulders of the Commandant’s who are expected to facilitate the transition of the recruits to well groomed police personnel.
The police boss further warned the Commandant’s against any act of corruption and extortion of the recruits .
IGP Baba also directed them to laise with their various commissioners of Police to ensure adequate security measures in the four premier police colleges in Lagos, Kaduna, Maiduguri, Enugu as well as 12 other institutes across the country designated for the training exercise.
