The family of Leah Sharibu has appealed to the Nigerian Government and the International community to expedite action in the rescue of their daughter. 15 year old Leah Sharibu was taken hostage alongside some Dapschi school girls since February 2018 by Boko Haram Terrorist Group. While the Nigerian government was able to secure the release of some of the school girls, Leah is still in captivity. At a ceremony to once again draw the attention of the world to the Leah Sharibu’s case, the Mother of the 15 year old girl,Rebecca Sharibu who broke down in tears during her speech appealed to the Buhari led Government not to renege on its promise to rescue her daughter.
