As the February 26 National Conversation of the All Progressives Congress, APC draws nearer, political horse trading and manoeuvring has become order of the day.
Some political gladiators seeking the National Chairmanship positions have started warming their ways by aligning with perceived power blocks in the party.
One of those is the Special Adviser on Inter-Governmental Affairs to the Zamfara State Governor, Sani Abdullahi Shinkafi who has declared his bid to run for the office of the National Chairman.
Addressing newsmen at the APC Secretariat in Abuja, the aspirant said with his wide experience as the immediate past National Secretary of the All Progressives Grand Alliance has what it takes to pilot the affairs of the APC and take the party to next level.
He also used the occasion to clear the air on the allege claim of faction in Zamfara state APC.
He however, assured that if elected as the National Chairman will defend and protect the interest of the party at all times.
