The federal government says it is committed to ensure standards are not compromised in logistics required for efficient management and utilization of Covid 19 vaccines in the country. This is as the government further rated high it’s vaccine storage facilities. He further lauded the french government for the gesture saying it indicates the confidence in Nigeria’s capability as an active partner in the global fight to end the Covid 19 pandemic. Earlier, the outgoing French Ambassador to Nigeria, Jerome Pasquier who commended the presidential taskforce on COVID 19 for addressing the pandemic through the procurement of vaccines and getting them across the country urged Nigerians yet to be vaccinated to do so. Similarly, the World Health Organisation country Representative, Dr Walter Molombo advocate need for Nigerians to get vaccinated so as to meet the new target of 40 percent benchmark by December,2021. The commitment of the federal government to work with development partners to sustain transparency in the nation’s vaccination program was yet again reafirmed at the ceremony.
