From forced labour and early marriages to Physical,mental and sexual assaults,a national demographic health survey put the figure of women that have experienced physical violence by age 15 in Nigeria to three in every ten. This worrisome trend may not be far from reasons why there is a global campaign to stem the tide of gender violence.
