Arrangements have been concluded for Nigeria to resume pilgrimage to the holy kingdom of Jordan. Executive Secretary of the Nigeria Pilgrim Christian Commission (NCPC) Rev Yakubu Pam disclosed this at a news conference to commemorate his one year in office. He said the exercise which will commence in July 2021 was initially disrupted a year before his appointment as NCPC boss over issues that have been laid to rest through various engagements with political and christian leaders across the states. Rev Pam however explained indications that led to the choice of Jordan for the holy exercise. The NCPC boss further spoke on the peace component of his responsibility especially as it concerns entrenching peaceful coexistence in the country. Other highlights of the ceremony includes the unveiling of NCPC Pilgrim’s Anthem and the Pilgrim Magazine titled “Rev Yakubu Pam: One Year in the Saddle”, cutting of Cake and presentation of gifts among others.
