NGO Empowers Grassroots Women In FCT.

A non-government organization, Axis of Hope has donated cash to women in Jahi as part of its empowerment initiatives to support women at the grassroots level in the federal capital territory.

Speaking at an event organised by Prize Learners Mentorship Club the Board Chairman, Axis of Hope Initiative, Barrister Maxwell Mgbudem said the gesture reflects the mission statement of the Group in giving women a voice in society.

He said the aspiration is not just to change individual lives,but transforming households and breaking cycles of poverty.


Reflecting on the theme of the program, “Mindset Shift’ ‘Parenting with Resilience Mgbudem said the NGO will continue to improve the lives of Nigerians by implementing sustainable, community-driven programmes that enhance education, healthcare, and economic empowerment.

Meanwhile, the convener Prize Learners Mentorship Club , Mrs. Chioma Chukwudile on her part condemned the worrisome trend of moral decadence in the society saying its a reflection of failed parenting.

Highlights of the Programme includes cash donations to women in Jahi to support small businesses and household stability as well as seed funding and business monitoring to help beneficiaries build sustainable enterprises and achieve financial security.
