Military Reviews Operational Strategies To Tackle Insecurity- DHQ
Information from the Defence Headquarters indicates that the operations of the Armed Forces is being reorganized to tackle the security challenges in the country. This the Coordinator, Defence Media Operations, Major General John Enenche says may be connected to the recent changes in the leadership of the Armed Forces of Nigeria and the appointment of new service chiefs. Enenche gave the indication while giving a general update on the activities of the Armed Forces of Nigeria’s operations from January 21 to February 11,2021 at the Defence Headquarters in Abuja He expressed optimism that the changes will ushered in new mode of operations in tackling the security challenges confronting the country. Update on activities of troops of Operation HADARIN DAJI and LAFIYA DOYLE in the north west and east respectively revealed a sustained onslaught against Armed Bandits and Terrorists. Enenche further highlighted activities of troops of Operation DELTA SAFE in the south south region saying their efforts is yielding the required results in the fight against pipeline vandalism, crude oil theft and other economic sabotage. The Defence spokesman further used the occasion to make case for Nigerians to continue to support the military efforts in tackling the nation’s security challenges.
